So incredibly happy to share this one with you. Josh Cohen is releasing the first singles of his album Wierd Time Signature. Recorded and produced on opposite sides of the world. We had all the technology to work remotely; Zoom for video, Audio Movers for the audio; this album was made between the stars.
Josh Cohen’s improvisational approach to playing conjures all the dynamism of electronic music merging it with the atmospheres of impressionist pianists. His live performances are also a defining part of his artistry. A series of live-streamed, improvised events show the energy and dynamism which seem more akin to that of a DJ playing a live set than a classical pianist.
